Domain Name and DNS
Although typically a small cost to any client in the first place, our goal is to be a true one stop shop and take the hassle out of your computing stress. With this in mind we offer to move your Domain Name to us to try and ensure that one simple contract takes care of everything.
Domain Name Registration with automatic renewal is available for free for one domain name per client. We will also include between 3 and 5 DNS servers depending on the domain name extension.
.co.uk, .com, .net are all free. Some more exotic domains like .de or .it may incur a small fee. More than one domain name may include a small fee.

Website Hosting
Included in the package is web hosting space, allowing you to cancel your existing arrangement and save money.
We can host most websites. Technology includes PHP, ASP, Windows Hosting Servers, MySQL, MS SQL, Joomla, Wordpress, Magento, FTP, static IP addresses.
Your web space is set up as per your requirements and flexibility is key.
NB: In some extreme circumstances we will charge extra for hosting. This is where your website either exceed several Gbs in disk spce or the processing or bandwidth requirements are in excess of a standard business website. For example if you were an online store.
Free Set Up & Data Migration
We will work with you to manage and deploy the solution. A normal roll out involves:
- Discussing exactly what data needs to be moved.
- Setting up a File and Folder Structure
- Defining a list of users and what they can / can't have access to.
- Defining email mailboxes and what data can and can't be moved.
- Sending a client a secure USB Terabyte Storage device and asking for copies of their data.
- Arranging for a courier to bring that data back to us ready for copying to the cloud systems.
- Switching systems at weekend to minimise downtime.
- Liaising with On Site staff
We do all that for free, and are committed to ensuring we help as much as possible during the transition phase to plan and minimise any downtime.

Exchange 2016 Email Server
Microsoft's industry leading email and communications platform is called Microsoft Exchange Server. We run the latest stable version, Exchange 2010, with all users being due for upgrade to 2016 as and when it passes our lab tests.
Mailbox sizes are not determined by us, you simply decide our much of your storage space you allocate to Exchange. If you would like Senior Management to have larger mailboxes than staff, no problem, that's easy to do.
You can access the Exchange Server from the Serviced Cloud system, but also by having Outlook installed on your computer, or from your mobile phone or from a web page using the Outlook Web App.
Email is sent immediately and automatically scanned for Virus and Spam.
Secure London Tier 3 Data Centre
All data is held in our datacentre facilities at Digital Realty at Merdian Gate and Level 3, at Global Switch. The vast majority of our hosted systems enjoy complete fault tolerance by replicating between the two datacentres.
Tier 3 datacentres are defined as Datacentres which :
- Can prove 99.982% availability of all core systems including electricity and Internet Connection.
- IT Systems are powered by two power sources (i.e. Diesel Generator Backup).
- Multiple Internet Connections for Redundancy
Hosting data in the UK is paramount for many of our clients who have strict regulatory requirements.
99% SLA
How SLA is simple.
Your services should be available 100% of the time. They are designed that way and to date they have operated that way.
If they slip below 99.9% we will refund you for the time you loose.
We independently monitor our services and so we know exactly what is going on at any one time.
Mimecast Email Security and Archiving
Standard Spam and Anti Virus filtering is included in our standard package to ensure that all our client's email arrives securely. Our standard system is satisfactory and represents excellent value for money, but there are other systems on the market.
There are times when email communications are absolutely critical, and for businesses that require something a little more advanced we recommend Mimecast.
Mimecast is a world leading enterprise security company consistently featured in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100. The system provides extensive email filtering for both inbound and outbound email with extended features such as Transport Layer Security (TLS). The enterprise version additionally contains features allowing automatic archiving of emails going back 10 years and the rapid recovery of old emails for legal purposes (e-discovery).
If you rely on email transactions for your business, or have to meet any regulatory compliance standards then the upgrade to Mimecast is definitely something to consider. For more information please visit www.mimecast.com or download the datasheet.
Two Factor Authentication
ServicedCloud provide logins with a simple username and password. Entering these two pieces of information grants access to the entire cloud system from company databases, to email systems, and other sensitive information. However users may inadvertently share their details, or use passwords that are in use for other online accounts. Phishing attacks trick people daily into revealing their passwords, and users on unsecured networks (e.g. at coffee shops) can have their passwords sniffed. Malicious viruses and spyware can capture passwords and send them over the network to attackers.
Furthermore, it's impossible to tell who has access to your users' accounts, or even if anyone is accessing them illicitly. In the past year alone, attackers have compromised Sony, HBGary, and Gawker (and many more) by simply gaining knowledge of users' passwords.
The most practical way to strengthen authentication is to require a second factor after the username/password stage. Since a password is something that a user knows, ensuring that the user also has something thwarts attackers that steal or gain access to passwords.
Two factor authentication provided by ServicedCloud offers users the choice of a hardware token, or an app on a smartphone to produce a one time key (OTK). This key is entered alongside the normal username and password and therefore maintaining a high level of security.

This product is included to allow clients the opportunity to run their industry specific databases on Serviced Cloud.
Microsoft’s SQL server is one of the worlds leading Database platforms, and thousands of databases systems use it as their back end.
